Resumé
Born in Istanbul, Üsküdar. After graduating from the Kadıköy College and the Cerrahpaşa faculty of Medicine with honours, supported by scholarship of TÜBİTAK (Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Foundation) , she completed her specialty in Ophthalmology in the same faculty on 1982.
She founded the Uveitis - Behçet section at 1991, in Göztepe Training and Education Hospital. On January 2001, she had an intensive course on complicated cases in ocular inflammation, medical retina, ICGA and Laser Flare-cell meter, conducted by Dr. Carl P. Herbort (“La Source” Eye Center, inflammatory eye diseases, Lausanne, Switzerland)
She then continued her practice mainly on uvea and medical retina, and for a short time strabismus, on various ophthalmology clinics.
On November 2016, she was entitled to FICO (Fellow of International Council of Ophthalmology)

Since 2003, she has been working at world Eye Hospital as a consultant on medical retina, uvea and neuro-ophthalmology.
She has been a guest lecturer for a short time at the Maltepe Faculty of Medicine on 2009, and a short time lecturer at the University of Near East.
